PEANUT BUTTER TIP OF THE DAY --- If you don't need to stir it, you probably don't want to eat it. The reason ? There are 2 ways to make peanut butter "stir-free". One is using hydrogenated oils to keep everything in suspension and avoid oil separation. You all know the health hazards of those.
The second is a little tricky ... companies will say "all natural stir-free" -- but they do this by using PALM OIL. Yes, palm oil is natural ... but the most recent research shows it may be one of the few vegetable oils that demonstrates negative effects on blood lipids and cholesterol just like some of the unhealthiest animal fats.
Simple solution ? Pour off 1/3 to 1/2 of the oil from a truly natural peanut butter (only contains peanuts and salt) - Like SMUCKERS. Microwave for 45 seconds. Then Stir easily. This will then exhibit minimal oil separation for the next 30 days. All that is needed is a quick 2-3 stirs when using in the future.
