I am halfway through reading Fitness 40, 50, 60 and Beyond, and it's great - very motivational!
But I'm struggling with injuries. Recently I feel like my ligaments and tendons are just failing me. I'm 54 years old. For 2 years I've been s-l-o-w-l-y getting through a mystery shoulder problem that has never been specifically diagnosed despite seeing one G.P., three physical therapists, a chiropractor, and several fitness trainers.
2 months ago my right forearm got strained from weight lifting, and it is not healing despite icing, compress, rest, etc. Last weekend I added a different type of cardio to my workout, and my right foot immediately got a strain (not "sprained", but it feels like something got over-worked, and it is not healing).
I eat very well, and I've been exercising moderately for years. I always warm up and am very focused on form and safety when I workout. I never used to have these problems. What is the deal here? Any suggestions?

What kind of new Cardio did you start trying 2 weeks ago ?
Have you included supplements like Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM in your daily regimen ?
